Elements & Principles of Design Scavenger Hunt

Description: For this assignment, we had to go on a scavenger hunt and take pictures that portrayed the elements of art and principles of design. We were then assigned to make it into a presentation that included the name of the element/principle, a specific grade level definition, and pictures for the element/principle. My partner and I chose 6-8 for our grade level. Footprint Introduction

  Description: This footprint activity is a great way for doing introductions and to get to know students or classmates. You begin by tracing your foot on any color of construction paper and cut it out. The footprint should include your name that is in legible writing and have objects and drawings to represent your own individual interests. You also need to use 3 different types of media like markers, construction paper, magazines, etc. The overall project needs to be of considerable craftsmanship by being neatly trimmed, objects securely attached, and appropriate spacing. When presenting your footprints explain what each item is and why it is included.  My footprint included: A book because I love to read and also minor in Elementary Reading; a strawberry because it's one of my favorite foods; mountains since I like to travel and hike; heart with family written on it because family is the most important thing to me; flowers because I think flowers are really pretty and sunflo...
